As Neurophotonics developers, our favourite way to learn about in vivo imaging techniques is straight from the scientists who use them every day. To say a big thank you to everyone who shared their experiences with us, we created these neuron socks and handed them out at Neuroscience 2025 (Society for Neuroscience) in San Diego - and they turned out to be very popular! 🧦🧠 Missed us in San Diego? You’re not too late. We’re currently looking for 20 additional participants for our in vivo imaging survey. ⏱️ Takes about 10 minutes 🎁 You’ll receive a pair of neuron socks as a thank-you If you’re working with in vivo techniques with animal models, feel free to reach out to Patrick Westermann here on LinkedIn or email us at info@deepen-imaging.com. We’d love to hear from you! #neuroscience #invivo #photonics #research #discovery #startup #merch

🎉𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗬𝗲𝗻 🎉 Starting in December, Wang-Cheng Yen has been part of DeepEn’s team as a working student and R&D assistant! We were impressed by Yen from the start, because he was one of the first people to crack the #joinDeepEn Challenge from October 2025. Only a few individuals could decipher our optical field and find the hidden message. Great job! 🔓 🧠 Yen studied Physics at Leipzig University and is currently finalising his master’s degree in Photonics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. In his final thesis, which he is currently wrapping up, Yen is applying advanced holographic techniques. Of course, this fits extremely well with DeepEn's work on ultrathin #holographic endoscopes! As part of DeepEn’s tech development team, he is now working on system controls and user interface. 🔬 We are very happy to have you at DeepEn, Yen! A warm welcome from the whole team! 👋 #photonics #jena #optics #startup #neurophotonics #careers #startuplife #deeptech #teamgrowth #innovation #researchanddevelopment

Our very own Tomas Cizmar not only delivered a keynote in Optical Biopsy XXIV conference, but also pitched DeepEn at the Start Challenge at SPIE #photonicswest!! Swapping his usual scientific persona to the entrepreneurial one, in just 2 days, was a tough experience, but well worth it and well performed! Well done! 🎉 🌟 👏 SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics #neurophotonics #neuroimaging

Congratulations on this outstanding demonstration! Tomas and his team have reached a significant milestone with the DECStL. Functioning as a probe for endoscopic imaging, it can bend and still deliver a clear image. We are excited to co-develop the technology further, together with the other consortium partners of the EIC-Transition project #NEUROGATE 💡 🧠 💡
Dear Multimode Fibre, We’ve been together for over 15 years now, and I owe my whole existence to you. I’d be nothing without you. But since 2019, I must confess I haven’t been completely faithful. I crossed paths with DECStL. It’s not about appearances, she’s just as gorgeous as you are. But when she dances, through all the crazy bends and twists, she still shapes the light perfectly. If you’d like to learn her story, take a look at this arXiv preprint [https://lnkd.in/dwdufuQB]. This doesn’t mean I’m leaving you. I will always love your magical input–output correlations that gave me my confocal and STED powers [https://lnkd.in/d9hvqBNd, https://lnkd.in/dbvtT--9]. Let’s move forward together. I believe we’ll be stronger than ever, and our adventures far more daring than anything we’ve attempted before. Yours, Holographic Endoscope

🎄✨ Festive greetings from the DeepEn Team! ✨🎄 As the year winds down and the labs get a little quieter (at least in theory), we want to send a big thank you to all the scientists, customers, collaborators, and partners who made this year so special for us. Whether you shared your research interests, did data recordings, late-night troubleshootings, or discussions about fibres, brains, and photons — we’re grateful for all the support we received on our journey this year! We are especially excited to start 2026 with 2 new team members, Alejandra Gómez Ramírez and Wang-Cheng Yen, who joined in November and December, respectively. We wish you all a joyful holiday season, some well-earned rest and a happy and healthy New Year. See you in 2026 — refreshed, re-energised, and ready to dive even deeper. 🧠✨ Warm holiday wishes, The DeepEn Team 🎁🎉 #Holiday #greeting #Xmas #Christmas #neuroscience #science #photonics #startup #microscopy #labwork #newyear #silvester
