100 years of clear vision. 🌨️🚘 In the early days of mobility, limited visibility in rain and snow was a serious technical challenge due to poor visibility. Following early concepts such as Mary Anderson’s 1903 patent, the industry continued working toward reliable solutions. In 1926 we introduced our first electric windshield wiper model, focusing on compact design, quiet operation, minimal power consumption, and consistent wiping performance. Developing the right rubber compound and ensuring even contact pressure were central engineering milestones. Over the decades, we have continuously advanced materials, blade systems, and motor technologies from Twin to Aerotwin solutions; but one century later, our mission remains unchanged: improving visibility and contributing to safer driving in all weather conditions. 3,000 liters of water, vibrant corals, clownfish, and blue tangs 🪸🐠 – all in a living room in the Bavarian Allgäu, Germany. 🏡 This impressive wall-embedded saltwater aquarium belongs to Dr. Arne Flemming, Head of Corporate Supply Chain Management at Bosch. What started with his first aquarium at age six turned into a life-long passion. 🔬 Over the years, Arne has studied and defined the perfect conditions for his corals, from optimal water temperature and adequate lighting to the precise selection of nutrients. His expertise is so sought-after that even experts from Australia have reached out for advice on species conservation in the Great Barrier Reef. 🌏🐟 In an adjacent room, he manages the necessary technology and a second aquarium to breed new corals using offshoots. 📷 And thanks to installed cameras, he can keep an eye on everything right from his smartphone – even when he’s on the road for work.
