At AV, the future of defense isn’t just about building better systems, it’s about making sure those systems seamlessly work together when it matters most. That’s why we’re proud to join the U.S. Army’s Operation Jailbreak “Right to Integrate” sprint at Fort Carson, with our AV_Halo™ software team. Operation Jailbreak is a fast-paced integration hackathon designed to expose open interfaces, extend APIs, and prove that Army C2, sensors, and effectors can rapidly integrate without bespoke, one-off engineering. It’s about delivering open, standards-based APIs, modern interfaces and non‑proprietary data formats so systems can plug into today’s platforms, and tomorrow’s. The approach for Operation Jailbreak echo’s how we develop our own tech stack’s – Agile and Iterative. We put engineers on the ground at Ft. Carson to validate integrations of AV’s technologies and other partner’s capabilities using our AV_Halo software platform to: -Expose a standards-based open API consumable by any Army platform without custom connectors, delivered as digital specifications and MBSE interface models. -Integrate AV and third-party sensors (RF, EO/IR, radar, acoustic) and effectors (directed energy, kinetic, EW) as demonstrated by Halo_Shield systems. -Demonstrate programmatic data sharing and tasking with current Army platforms in a sprint environment. Align to the Army Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for reuse and flexibility across the force. -Extend existing Army capabilities into next-generation frameworks Our participation in Operation Jailbreak is about partnership and about demonstrating speed to scale capability. This initiative puts government and industry Teams side by side to solve a critical Army-wide challenge: making integration fast, repeatable, and scalable across the entire enterprise. We’re not here to build closed systems. We’re here to demonstrate that our systems collaborate, and most importantly - that they are ready for the fight. I appreciate Army leadership leaning in and pushing the boundaries on this one and the AV Personnel that dropped everything to participate. #DefenseInnovation #OperationJailbreak #RightToIntegrate #DefenseTech #OpenArchitecture #Interoperability #MOSA
