Write the Docs Berlin 2025, 27-28 October 2025 in Berlin, Germany. I co-hosted the Welcome Wagon for first-time attendees of a Write the Docs conference, reprising my role at Write the Docs Prague 2018 through 2022. I was glad to meet so many engaged and excited attendees and I hope I’ll see you at another Write the Docs event soon.

Open Source Summit Europe, 25-27 August 2025 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Erin McKean and I presented a talk on new resources that help open source maintainers make and maintain documentation.

Documentation project archetypes, documentation maturity audit, and Google Season of Docs — I’ve worked with the Google Season of Docs team to create two resources to help open source software maintainers create documentation and work more effectively with technical writers. Baseline and web-features — As part of my client work, I work with the W3C WebDX Community Group to create and maintain Baseline and web-features, tools to help developers understand the capabilities of the web platform across browsers.
