FIREWORKS
East Hampton Fire Department Main Beach Fireworks, July 4th | Dusk
One of the East End's most anticipated traditions officially returns home to the shores of Main Beach for the night of July 4th. Hosted by the East Hampton Fire Department, this annual tradition features a fireworks display over the ocean. Arrive early to secure a spot before nightfall.
The Sag Harbor Yacht Club Fireworks offer a premier waterfront celebration with breathtaking views of the harbor beginning at 9:30 pm. The spectacular display can be seen from throughout the village's harborfront, including Long Wharf, Marine Park, and Havens Beach.
An Independence Day tradition hosted by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, this year's Grucci fireworks display shifts to a barge outside the Montauk Inlet. The breathtaking show can be enjoyed from Gin Beach, Montauk Point, Sunset Beach, or Gosman’s Dock, with complimentary town shuttles available.
Westhampton Country Club Fireworks, July 4th | 9:00 pm
This is an exclusive, private celebration held on-site at the Westhampton Country Club on Potunk Lane. However, the entire surrounding community shares in the festive tradition each year, with neighbors lining up along local neighborhood streets to watch the spectacular display of Grucci fireworks fill the night sky.
A magical evening of community-funded fireworks unfolds over Crescent Beach, right alongside Sunset Beach. This annual mid-July tradition creates one of the most picturesque displays of the season, with a scheduled rain date of July 12th.
Presented by the Clamshell Foundation to support vital local causes, this midsummer display is a treasured favorite over Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton. The brilliant aerial display is a massive hit among boaters anchoring in the bay and waterfront spectators alike, with a scheduled rain date of July 12th.
PARADES
Celebrating America's 250th birthday, this historic Southampton Village 4th of July Parade begins at Railroad Plaza on Elm Street. The grand Independence Day procession marches down North Main Street, continues onto Main Street and Jobs Lane, and concludes at the official review stand at Monument Square in Agawam Park.
The Shelter Island 4th of July Parade steps off from the American Legion at the corner of Bateman Road and School Street. The community march routes south on North Ferry Road, loops via Thomas Avenue and East Thomas Street, and returns to the American Legion for a post-parade speech and celebration.
