I led Cameroon team to the Africa PachiPanda grand finale in South-Africa. Once again. MTN Group Headquarters hosted us for the final pitches of our young competitors. Once again. We won the 1st prize (thanks to nTron™ Kit project represented by Njita Arnaud), and the 3rd prize (thanks to Agricheck project represented by Bill Agha). Once again. Yes. Cameroon did it. Once again. You probably saw me running all over the place, shouting and waving Cameroon flag. One again. Because as team lead and coach (yes, I’m about to add "successful coach" in my CV), I was happy. Once again. Thanks to Arnaud, Bill and Embom Jemima, Cameroon finalists, for making me, MTNers, MTN Cameroon, their communities and the Country so proud. Thanks to Britney Jade Gezwind, Ahista Hussain, Marina Madale and all MTN Group Team for the assistance before, during and after the event. Thanks to my bosses Marie Germaine Ndzie Atedzoe and Melvin Akam for their trust. Thanks to all “invisible” and dedicated Colleagues for their incredible support: Géraldine EKAMBI, Akara Eric Mbita, Sidonie Farida Ossele, PH... Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming my brother, Nzometiah Nervis from Nervtek, to the ULEVUS office here in Douala. Honestly, it felt less like a formal meeting and more like one of those real, meaningful catch-ups you have with someone you’ve grown with over the years. We talked about what we’ve both been building, shared ideas around design and design thinking, and reflected on how companies can be more intentional about creating solutions that truly matter. What stood out the most for me was taking a moment to look back. We’ve known each other for years, and seeing how far we’ve come, from where we started to where we are now is something I don’t take for granted. We also spent time talking about what’s ahead—future projects, new collaborations, and how we can keep creating opportunities, especially for the younger people in our community. Moments like this remind me that growth is even more meaningful when it’s shared. nTron™ Kit for Educators On the International Day of Mathematics 2025, ten (10) secondary school teachers from around Fako division in the South West Region of Cameroon had an experiential learning opportunity with the nTron™ Kit. The goal was to illustrate how Mathematics transitions from equations and formulas to real-life applications. The nTron™ Kit is a versatile learning toolkit that leverages mathematical principles throughout its design, manufacturing, and application process. The most exciting moment of this session was the teachers bringing the nBot robot to life 😊. A special shout-out to AIMS Cameroon for partnering with Nervtek to provide teachers and students with a hands-on learning experience using the nTron™ Kit. James J. Njong

In this modern era, access to power, connectivity, and digital tools is critical for fast-tracking the empowerment of future talents and national development. The Solar-powered Digital e-Container by UNICEF Cameroon with support from IHS Towers is one of those key investments that provides a 360-degree solution of Power, Connectivity, Environmental sustainability, and Digital tools for students and educators to grow and enhance their learning journey and professional development. Limbe gets its first solar-powered digital e-Container classroom, thanks to UNICEF Cameroon in partnership with Nervtek and IHS Towers UNICEF Cameroon has introduced solar-powered digital classrooms in several parts of the country, and now Limbe has officially been added to that growing list. With the completion and opening of this new e-Container, over 400 pupils and more than 60 teachers in the South West Region now have access to modern, tech-enabled learning across four government primary schools. The e-Container is not just a classroom. It is a fully equipped digital learning hub built from recycled materials and powered entirely by solar energy, designed to function even in areas where infrastructure is limited. Inside, pupils and teachers can access computers, tablets, internet connectivity, and digital learning tools that support both online and offline education. Unlike a regular computer lab, this space is self-sustaining. It brings its own power and connectivity into the community, making it possible for schools to run digital learning without depending on unstable electricity or internet access. This initiative is part of a wider effort to expand digital education across Cameroon, with similar e-Containers already deployed in multiple regions, reaching thousands of learners.
