EMERGE and BORIS2 are projects focused on developing multi-risk platforms for cross-border areas: Italy, Slovenia, and Austria for BORIS2, and North Macedonia, Greece, and Albania for EMERGE. Their impact and the quality of the achieved results are demonstrated by the continuity and evolution of the platforms. The EMERGE platform builds on a first version developed within the CRISIS project, while BORIS2 represents the continuation and enhancement of BORIS.

Follow-up funding enabled the partnerships to achieve mature and operational solutions, recognized as valuable by local stakeholders actively involved throughout the projects. Videos and laptops will allow visitors to explore the platforms and understand their applications for civil protection. Both platforms are flexible and modular, enabling the integration of new hazards and geographical areas, as demonstrated by the inclusion of a municipality in Montenegro within BORIS2. Project partners will participate in the demonstrations.
