We’ve just wrapped up a powerful series of three founder talks that left our #EPFLblaze cohort inspired and energized.⚡ We kicked things off with Mark Kornfilt, founder of the new startup Ensilio and EPFL alumnus, who previously co-founded Livestream and led Vimeo to its public debut on Nasdaq. In an intimate and highly interactive session, Mark shared deep insights on "Strategy and Human Management". He also introduced the cohort to the strategy memo tool — taking the time to offer personalized feedback to each trailblazer and making the experience truly unique. Next, we welcomed Maxime Droux, co-founder and chairman of Talent.com and now partner at Climb Ventures, where he’s currently launching a new fund. With him, we explored what it means to grow a company from three co-founders to over 500 people. He shared invaluable lessons on driving growth, building company culture, and raising funds — while also delivering sharp insights on crafting a sales strategy and thinking internationally from day one. Finally, our own VP Edouard Bugnion — co-founder of VMware and Nuova Systems, both successfully exited — closed the series with a session titled "Perspectives on Scaling". Blending personal analogies with lessons from fellow founders, he dove into key topics like product–market fit, timing, go-to-market strategy, geography, team leadership, and multi-stage financing.
