SUHNER has been his second home since he took a holiday job here back in 1993. Some people spend years finding their favorite workplace, Ljupco just can't stay away from his. His special skills: ”If there’s no program, I’ll write and optimize it myself. ✨ 111 Years of SUHNER – A Celebration of Pride, Inspiration, and Togetherness! ✨ Customers and guests from all over the world gathered in Lupfig to celebrate the 111th anniversary of the SUHNER Group. A milestone that not only honors our history but also shows how tradition and innovation go hand in hand. Our CEO Jürg Suhner emphasized in his speech how deeply values, quality, and reliability are rooted in our company’s DNA – guiding us for over a century and continuing to shape our path forward. One of the day’s highlights was the inspiring session with Dominique Gisin, Olympic Champion, and Dr. Christian Marcolli, Expert in High Performance & Leadership. They shared how to turn setbacks into strength, maintain focus, and achieve success – in sports as well as in business. 🏔💪 We then explored our Group Application Center, where exciting demonstrations, contests, and hands-on experiences showcased our technologies and expertise. 🔧⚙️ The evening concluded in a wonderful atmosphere with live music, great conversations, and delicious food from Herby Foodtruck. 🎶🍔 A heartfelt thank you to all organizers, employees, and partners who made this memorable celebration possible. When Technology Meets Art – A visit to Carlo Borer’s Studio At first glance, you wouldn’t expect a connection between SUHNER and Swiss artist Carlo Borer. But spend five minutes in his workshop, and it becomes obvious: the material, the process, the obsession with stainless steel – that’s where the overlap begins. They are both drawn to precision, but not for its own sake. It's about clean lines and the sense of creating something tangible. 🎨 Carlo doesn’t just work with steel – he sculpts it into form straight from digital sketches, using his hands, tools, and a sharp eye. There’s nothing automated about it. Every curve is intentional, every angle debated. It’s physical work, and you feel it in the room.
