⚙️ As telecom operators face rising operational complexity and increasing pressure to enable AI-driven operations, OSS is moving from backend infrastructure to strategic control system. The autonomous telco depends on real-time orchestration, unified inventory, closed-loop assurance, and intelligent operational control. Fragmented OSS environments can no longer support the scale, speed, and determinism required for AI-enabled network operations. 🚀 In our new BCG Platinion insights article, authored by Eike Kock, Michael Steiger, Dr. Oliver Budde, and Tanyel Tunçer, we explore how telecom operators can redesign OSS architectures and build the operational foundations required for autonomous networks. From harmonized inventory and automated fulfillment to AI-driven autonomy, the article outlines the maturity path toward intelligent, self-optimizing operations. How close is your organization to becoming an autonomous telco? 🔗 Click below to learn more and share your perspective in the comments: https://lnkd.in/eV_ARRat #Telecom #OSS #AutonomousNetworks #AIOps #DigitalTransformation

Many Nordic enterprises feel caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to ERP transformation. 🪨 With ~60% of companies still running outdated SAP ECC systems, the 2030 S/4HANA deadline is fast approaching. Yet up to 70% of ERP programs fall short of their goals — and the stagnation is real. The risk? Treating this as just another IT upgrade. The opportunity? A once-in-a-decade chance to fundamentally transform how your business operates — and compete in the AI era. In our latest insight, our Nordic experts unpack the ERP Paradox: why so many organizations stall, how to choose between Brownfield, Smartfield, and Greenfield migration paths, and what a winning roadmap actually looks like. 📖 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/eTW8FvcN #ERP #SAP #S4HANA #DigitalTransformation #Nordics

Core banking is at a turning point. Advances in real-time payments, cloud, and AI are reshaping where and how banks need to modernize. The key challenge is not choosing a single path, but making the right choices. Different parts of the banking value chain require different capabilities. Payments and digital propositions demand speed and flexibility. Balance-sheet intensive businesses require stability and control. This is why leading banks are moving away from one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, they are adopting modular, multi-core architectures that enable targeted innovation while preserving resilience. Our banking experts, including Kaj Burchardi, examine how banks can make these decisions with discipline and unlock real impact from next-generation capabilities. 👉 Read the full BCG Platinion article here: https://lnkd.in/e5x7xDgq #Banking #CoreBanking #DigitalTransformation #Payments #FinancialServices

Large-scale transformation doesn't happen in boardrooms alone — it's won in the messy reality of execution. At SAP Sapphire in Madrid, BCG Platinion's Sharonee Dutta and Boston Consulting Group (BCG)'s Berry Diepeveen will join Alec Joannou, CIO of ABB, to unpack ABB's enterprise transformation from the inside out. The session will tackle the hard questions: How do you make portfolio trade-offs under pressure? Where does AI actually unlock value versus where it's just noise? What separates transformations that deliver from those that stall? If you're attending, let's connect. Learn more about how BCG and SAP work together: https://on.bcg.com/48xmba5

At Google Cloud Next '26, one theme dominated every conversation: Agentic AI is reshaping how enterprises operate, and the window to get ahead is narrowing. BCG Platinion's Sophie (Hong) Yang and Walid Albeltagy were on the ground and came back with three clear takeaways: 1️⃣ Agents are at the frontier. Across the board, the industry is converging on agentic infrastructure: goal-driven agents orchestrating complex workflows end-to-end, well beyond simple task automation. 2️⃣ Data architecture is your competitive moat. Organizations are moving beyond RAG and prompt engineering into governing autonomous agent fleets. That transition only works with clean, connected, governed data underneath it. 3️⃣ Governance can't be retrofitted. As agents take on more consequential decisions, accountability frameworks need to be built alongside the technology, not after. The autonomous enterprise isn't a future state. It's already underway. Is your organization's foundation ready? Learn more at http://bcgplatinion.com/
