On Friday we had our final Brewing Success panel for the winter semester on a very popular theme, "Navigating the Canadian Job Market as an International Student." 🌍 Our panelists, all Concordia University alumni, shared insightful advice and helpful tips on how they navigated the journey from international student to full-time professional. 💼 Some of our favorite advice was to: 🌟 Network, network, network - that includes leveraging your peer network! 🌟 Search for skills instead of job titles as a job search strategy; 🌟 Make internships your best friend and if you can't take an internship, volunteer and get involved with a student organization!
