After four years, UofT BizTech is officially concluding operations. Founded in 2021, UTBT evolved to become one of the fastest-growing professional development communities at the University of Toronto. Our club educated, empowered, and connected 1,500+ students to secure lucrative roles in the business side of tech, built a 30+ member executive team, and hosted 30+ events and programs. Thank you to everyone who contributed to its growth. The club’s impact continues through the people and work it helped shape.

The future of work is changing, faster than ever. As AI agents, LLMs, and automation reshape how companies operate, a new generation of business-side tech roles is emerging: in product, strategy consulting & marketing. UTBT (UofT BizTech Association) is the first student organization at the University of Toronto focused on helping students launch meaningful careers in tech. without needing to code. We educate, connect, and empower student leaders to thrive in the AI era—by delivering future-proof learning, real-world readiness, and deep industry connection. Our programs are built around the skills, tools, and experiences needed to succeed in today’s most in-demand non-technical roles across product, strategy, consulting, and marketing. Here’s what to expect: Future-Proof Learning - AI-focused microlearning, curated toolkits, and hands-on workshops to build the business skills and knowledge needed for the modern tech industry. Industry Activation - Bridge the classroom-to-career gap through direct exposure to real companies—via case competitions, partner-led simulations, speaker panels, and recruiting-focused events.
