  • Jon and Mike Di Stasi have been Tim Hortons restaurant owners in Regina for over 10 years and are proud, strong supporters of their local communities. How committed are they to giving back through the annual Smile Cookie campaign? Well in 2024 they and their teams baked and hand decorated over 55,000 Smile Cookies in just 7 days! We visited Jon and Mike to learn more about their family business, including how they learned to make donuts with their dad.

  • Tim Hortons restaurant owners in Barrie are baking a $2 million difference in their local community one Smile Cookie at a time with their pledge of $1 million to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and $1 million to Hospice Simcoe through Smile Cookie proceeds. The much-needed funds will help expand Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s Birthing Unit. In addition to giving the littlest community members in Barrie the sweetest start, proceeds from Smile Cookie sales in Barrie will also help fund the construction of a new gazebo at Hospice Simcoe, helping to deliver compassionate care to those who are dying or grieving the loss of a loved one. Tim Hortons week-long Smile Cookie campaign returns April 28 with 100% of proceeds from each cookie sold donated to local charities and community groups selected by local Tim Hortons restaurant owners across the county. • As millions of North Americans gather to watch football tonight, Tim Hortons is sharing a message of Canadian pride with a fresh take on one of Canada's most iconic songs. Tim Hortons has teamed up with the family of the legendary Stompin' Tom Connors and his publisher Anthem Entertainment to reimagine his beloved "Hockey Song" – with a football twist. The new lyrics give a good-natured nod to the fact that hockey, Canada's national winter sport, still reigns supreme. "'The Hockey Song' is a Canadian anthem – everyone knows the words, it's part of our Canadian DNA," said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons. "So, when we thought about how to celebrate this weekend, we knew this was the perfect time to remind everyone that while we like football, Canadian culture is unique and that will never change. And even when we cheer for football, hockey is still the best game you can name." The ad, airing in Canada today before and during the football game, follows the highs and lows of football — touchdowns, tackles, and celebrations — before playfully reminding Canadians that we're not sorry for loving hockey the most.
