I am delighted to announce an upcoming ThinkSuite Inc x Bloomberg event, Navigating Geopolitical Turbulence & Exploring Philanthropy, taking place on August 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Held in partnership with Bloomberg, ImpactSG - Gateway to Giving, Keith Yap's Front Row Podcast and ART:DIS, the exclusive gathering will bring together preeminent family offices, institutional investors and thought leaders for an afternoon of purposeful discussion and global insight. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is the Speaking Partner for the event. We're grateful to all our amazing partners, including Jiahui Wong, Dillon Tan (He/His/Him), Felicia F. and Gwen Wong. Hosted by Richard Mak, President, Asia at ThinkSuite and Principal at Highland Family Office, the program opens with remarks from Kelvin C., Head of Southeast Asia at Bloomberg. We will then hear from Kai Xiang Teo, Head of the Banking Development Division at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. A highlight of the afternoon will be a fireside chat with Kishore Mahbubani, Distinguished Fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore and former President of the U.N. Security Council. The conversation will be moderated by Keith Yap, host of The Front Row Podcast. A panel discussion on “The Future of Philanthropy” will follow, featuring: Ceci Chan, Vice Chair, Dean’s Council, Harvard Kennedy School; Board Member, Harvard's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy; Executive Committee Member, USC Shoah Foundation Chew Gek Hiang, Executive Director & Head of Finance, Tecity Group Vandna Ramchandani (She/Her), Head of Corporate Philanthropy, Asia Pacific, Bloomberg The panel will be moderated by Edmund Joseph Twohill, Executive Director & Co-Founder of ImpactSG. The event will close with a networking reception and a curated ART:DIS showcase — celebrating the work of artists with disabilities and Bloomberg’s commitment to inclusive philanthropy. While most seats are taken, there are still a few spots left. Those interested may register here: https://lnkd.in/gzH-ddAk. My special thanks to Richard Mak, who helped architect this event. We could not be doing this without the amazing support of Christina Mehra, Nelson Lee and various others who made this possible. I'm thankful for the extraordinary caliber of speakers and guests who will be in the room. I’m so looking forward to the conversations, connections and ideas that will emerge.
