Our Construction & Equipment Division recently kicked off its first Constructing Connections Tour. During the experience, participants visited PumpsPlus Limited in Saint John, where they toured the facility and got hands-on with a live demonstration to see how a ITT Goulds Pumps operates. A great start for Constructing Connections!
By learning from one another and experiencing different operations firsthand, we strengthen collaboration and reinforce a strong safety culture within our team. Last week, our Construction & Equipment Division hosted its first ever Constructing Connections Tour, bringing together employees from across six businesses to deepen operational understanding. The experience included two immersive days touring locations across the division, including an active quarry and project sites. Participants gained a behind the scenes look at how our businesses operate and work together with safety top of mind. The takeaways mean better teamwork, smarter decision making in the field and the office and delivering safer, more efficient and innovative solutions for our customers.

This month, our Construction & Equipment Division team stepped back from day‑to‑day operations to host Vision, our annual event where we share what we’re building, why it matters and how our teams contribute to the broader J.D. Irving, Limited organization. Over three sessions, with more than 150 teammates in attendance, Vision brought our businesses together to focus on what matters most: safety, celebrating our people and the work we are proud to deliver. The sessions featured messages from our Vice President, General Managers and guest speakers from CFM Custom Fabricators & Machinists Ltd., Irving Equipment Ltd., Gulf Operators Ltd., Irving Wallboard, Kent Homes and PumpsPlus Limited who shared insights on key projects, priorities and what lies ahead. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Vision another engaging and meaningful experience! 👷♀️
