A massive shoutout to the incredible team from e-STORAGE! 🚀 The amazing volunteers from e-STORAGE stepped out of the office and into the gym at Our Lady of Fatima school in Cambridge. Not only did they generously sponsor and pay for the entire cereal breakfast, but they also rolled up their sleeves to set up the stations and serve the students with a smile. We love seeing local businesses invest their time and resources directly into our community. Established in 1997, Nutrition for Learning is a registered charitable organization that provides student nutrition programs in schools across Waterloo Region. In partnership with youth and educators, we continually strive to elevate the experience of universal food access at schools in ways that promote optimal wellbeing, healthy relationships, and food literacy. We envision a Waterloo Region where all students are nourished at school so they can learn, connect, participate, and thrive. Currently, Nutrition for Learning has 183 student nutrition programs in 175 schools across Waterloo Region, serving approximately 23,000 students daily.

I joined the Smile Cookies event in the headquarters of Canadian Solar Inc. in #Kitchener, #Ontario, breaking my ‘zero cookie’ rule. Nutrition for Learning is a local charity providing universal food access at schools to promote wellbeing/learning. Canadian Solar has held two charitable events to date, raising about $17,000 in total for this charity. Each year, Tim Horton’s, an iconic Canadian brand and story, sells Smile Cookies, with 100% of the proceeds going to Nutrition for Learning and other charities. We were doing our part to support that initiative. Very sweet chocolate cookie!
