Feeding The Future

About us

We are a leading global provider of crop inputs and services, operating a world-class network of production, distribution and ag retail facilities that positions us to efficiently serve the needs of farmers. We focus on creating long-term value by prioritizing investments that strengthen the advantages of our business across the ag value chain and by maintaining access to the resources and relationships with stakeholders needed to achieve our goals. We produce and distribute about 27 million tonnes of upstream potash, nitrogen, and phosphate products for global agricultural, industrial, and feed customers. Our downstream agriculture retail network services over 600,000 customer accounts worldwide. Our strong and trusted relationship with farmers is at the heart of our business. In spending our days with farmers, we plan with them, walk their fields and explore ways to help them succeed. We have a comprehensive portfolio of crop inputs and services, spanning the ag value chain, and we are working together with our customers to improve on-farm productivity to meet the needs of a growing global population. Before the first seed of the year meets soil, the work has already begun. It's the early‑morning planning sessions, equipment checks, input decisions, financial forecasting and the tough calls most people never see. These behind‑the‑scenes moments shape the season just as much as the days in the field. In support of #NationalAgDay, we want to hear from you! Before work starts in the field, what decisions are you already making?

Human connection. Learning by doing. Shared experience. The next generation is discovering these qualities in mining careers. At the Canadian Mining Games hosted at the University of Saskatchewan, Nutrien was proud to provide a hands-on experience focused on teamwork, safety, and purpose for engineering students from around the country. For students and Nutrien interns alike, it offered a meaningful connection to potash and its role in feeding the future. Read the full story here: https://bit.ly/4dtJyV5

At our nitrogen plant in Borger, TX, the on-site lab plays a critical role in how our teams work together every day. "Since our onsite lab went online in 2023, the cleaner, larger workspace has enabled improved and expanded testing capabilities,” says Gary Leatherman, Laboratory Technician. From process monitoring and quality control to ammonia, process water and urea product testing, this space supports real-time collaboration and informed decision-making – and helps teams across the plant operate safely, efficiently and with confidence, every shift. “Expanding into our larger lab gave our team the space and infrastructure for more efficient workflows, better testing conditions, and more accurate analytical results,” said Christopher Lammons, Senior Laboratory Technician. The precision and teamwork don’t stop at the plant gate. The work happening inside this lab helps ensure the nitrogen products leaving Borger meet the high standards farmers rely on to grow crops and power food production around the world.

Last week at Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 2026, Julie Ann W. shared Nutrien’s $1.1 B Indigenous supply chain journey as part of the conference’s Master Class series. A key takeaway shared in the class is: when embedded properly, economic reconciliation stops being a program. It becomes infrastructure. Design builds the architecture. Discipline protects it under pressure, and relationships sustain it over time. Read our guide with more information in Nutrien’s Indigenous Content Playbook: https://bit.ly/4libFsd

For many of the communities where we live and work, access to timely emergency medical care can make all the difference. Since 2012, Nutrien has partnered with STARS to strengthen emergency medical access in Saskatchewan’s rural and remote communities, beginning with our support to establish the Saskatoon base 14 years ago. That partnership has helped enable over 10,000 life-saving missions to date. With the renewal of our partnership and an additional $4 million commitment, our total support now exceeds $30 million over the past 10+ years. Hear from our President & CEO Ken Seitz on the impact and importance of our partnership with STARS in the video below, and learn more here: https://bit.ly/49Q4NwK
