Proud moment for our own Katie Maxfield, who just wrapped up judging the Film Shortlist for this year’s Marketing Awards presented by Strategy Online! 🚀 “What stood out most was just how much room there still is for creativity in Canada. The work that rose to the top was smart, culturally relevant, and beautifully crafted, the kind of ideas that remind you why this industry is so fun to be in.” A big congratulations to all the shortlisted work!

Last March, we launched Look for the Leaf with Maple Leaf Foods Inc, a rally cry for Canadians to buy local and show the world unity and togetherness wins every time. A year later, the conversation continues to evolve. D'Arcy Finley tells Strategy Online, “‘Made in Canada’ continues to influence purchase behaviour. But the winning communication isn’t chest-thumping as much as it is friction removal. We’ll keep the emotion, but we’ll earn it with more specificity. In a pragmatic era, trust is the best kind of patriotism.” 🍁 Read the article here: https://lnkd.in/dqRptjNc

In times of crisis and uncertainty, a communicator’s role becomes mission critical. During this podcast conversation, Priyanka Goswami talks about leading her team and clients through change with clarity, transparency and calm. Sharing context. Pausing when things feel chaotic. Moving forward one step at a time. A reminder that people can handle hard truths, but what they can’t handle is silence, spin and mixed messages. CanadianSME Small Business Magazine

One of the best to ever do it, do we dare say? 💅 Our very own Victoria Di Valerio is judging on the Applied Arts Media Design Jury this year, and we couldn’t be more proud. If there’s one thing you need to know about Vic, it’s that she uses her sharp eye and playful approach to turn complexity into design magic. When asked what qualities she looks for in aspiring creatives, Vic said: “It might be cliché, but it’s true… curiosity!”

Big news: Jean-Philippe Dugal is joining the jury at The One Club for Creativity for the Young Ones Type Directors Club Competition — a celebration of the vitality of typography and the next generation of talent. JP treats typography as a strategic design tool, shaping it with one clear goal: defining the brand’s personality. As a creative who’s lived both design and advertising, he carries his intent into everything he does. "What fires me up is the beautiful, messy, endlessly fascinating dance between design and advertising. Two dialects of the same language, each trying to express the same truth about a brand: who it is, what it believes in, and how it wants to be seen.” Looking forward to seeing what catches JP’s eye. Good luck to all of the entrants! 🚀
