We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Alyson Gourley-Cramer on receiving the CPRS Entrepreneurial Leadership Award. Over the past seven years, Alyson has built Monogram into a communications agency grounded in strategy, creativity, trust and people-first leadership. This recognition reflects not only her entrepreneurial vision, but the culture she’s intentionally created - one that values thoughtful communications, strong relationships and supporting people as they grow. Congratulations! This recognition is so well deserved.
Almost 7 years ago, I started Monogram Communications, Inc. and today I was honoured with the Entrepreneurial Leadership Award from @cprsnational. It’s so validating because, at some points in my career, I actually wasn’t rewarded for entrepreneurial thinking - but in building Monogram, I’ve had the opportunity to design a place that pushes and celebrates all kinds: strategic, linear, visionary - something which grounds us in the profession of PR. Having team members Carly Truscott , Veronica Beltran and Kyla Graham, APR, MCPRS here with me was the icing on the cake, because truly this award belongs to the team, as their contributions are immeasurable. And cheering for Carly walking the stage directly following to receive her PRK (congrats also to Gracie Curlock, who we also supported in her PRK ) , is so demonstrative of what we value here: both excellence and humanity. This award also reflects every person who helped shape this path: The OGs Renee McCloskey, APR, FCPRS and Kevin Brown, besties Lisa Covens, MA, CAIP, MCPRS , Sarah Zimmerman, APR, Angela Murray, Kiki Cloutier; pals Cam McAlpine, @DrTerryFlynn, Richard Truscott, MBA, APR, FCPRS , Vincent Power , Tim Conrad, APR, MCPRS , and Matt Wood, MA, APR Mike Davis ; Rashpal Rai, MCM, APR rock stars Kim Blanchette, MCPRS, APR, Chart.PR, Fellow CPRS , Sara Goldvine , Christina Verticchio , Melissa Layton, MPR @JenDavies, Kassandra Lee-Kondo, Kim Hayhurst Megan Rae, Jennifer Brandle-McCall you’re such a part of this. To all of our current and former Monogram team members - Monogram Communicatikns exists today in our best form because of you. Your talents and dedication to producing award winning and creative work for our clients has built our reputation as one of Canada’s finest. And to our @cprsnl Chapter - without the place to challenge, celebrate and build community, I may not have had the courage to even start. ✨ Thank you 🙏
