CANSEC 2026 was filled with constructive conversations about how our technology is shaping the future of defence, security and space. As Canada continues to scale domestic production and strengthen its supply chain to meet defence commitments, this event was an essential working session for our industrial capacity and domestic needs, in addition to being an excellent opportunity to connect with numerous foreign government delegations. On Day 1, we were honoured to welcome Canada’s Minister of National Defence David J. McGuinty, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence and MP Sherry Romanado, Deputy Minister of National Defence Christiane Fox, and Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) CEO Christyn (Chris) Cianfarani to our booth to discuss the capabilities of our newly launched space control platform MDA MIDNIGHT™. We were also delighted to host Canadian Space Agency | Agence spatiale canadienney President Lisa Campbell, Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force | Aviation royale canadienne Lieutenant-General Jamie Speiser-Blanchet and Major-General Jeff Smyth, MSM, CD. Day 2 continued the momentum with visits from the Hon. Maninder Sidhu P.C.,M.P., Minister Ruby Sahota, Yukon Premier Currie Dixon and city leaders Denise McClure and Andrea Williams of Brampton. We were also pleased that 49North and Voyageur Aviation Corp. two strong Canadian companies, signed an MOU to deliver ISR solutions for Canadian government, defence and security customers. Thank you to Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) for organizing a seamless event that put Canadian innovation and defence capabilities on display. #CANSEC2026
