Hockey has a powerful way of bringing communities together. 🏒 Today in Norman Wells, players of all ages are sharing the ice, celebrating the game, and taking in a once in a lifetime visit from the Hockey Hall of Fame and three of its iconic trophies — right here on the frozen river at the first ever Sahtu Mackenzie River Classic. We’re also proud to have Brent Dodginghorse in Norman Wells, spending time with community members to talk about diversity and inclusion. His Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award is here too, inspiring the next generation both on and off the ice. Moments like this are what it’s all about. #SahtuMackenzieRiverClassic #HockeyInTheNorth

March is National Engineering Month - a time to recognize the people and pathways that shape careers in our industry. For Jake Ladanchuk, that path started close to home. Inspired by his older brother, a process operator at Imperial, Jake chose to pursue the same career in engineering. “Learning about his career inspired me to enroll in the Chemical Production and Process Engineering Technology (CPET) program at Lambton College. CPET requires a strong commitment, but the combination of classroom learning and hands-on co-op experience prepared me for a successful career. Working alongside great people, continuous learning opportunities, and strong career stability are just a few of the reasons I chose this path.” - Jake Ladanchuk, Process Operator, Imperial Sarnia #NEM2026 #NationalEngineeringMonth

More than a game. More than a moment. Last week, our Chairman, President and CEO, John Whelan, helped welcome players from the Little Native Hockey League (LNHL) to a special experience at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. These are the moments that connect communities and stay with players forever. We’re proud to play a part in that journey and we’ll be sharing more in the coming days. Stay tuned.

Our Sarnia team is thrilled to support Mastermind Youth Foundation through a $50,000 contribution. The organization uses hands‑on STEM and robotics programming to help kids and teens in Sarnia‑Lambton build practical skills, confidence, and pathways into future careers. Mastermind's space at the Lochiel Kiwanis Centre is impressive, with a hands‑on learning environment equipped with modern, high‑quality technology that brings STEM and robotics concepts to life. Thank you to Jacques, Sachin, and the students for welcoming us for a visit and sharing the impact this space has on their learning and growth.
