About us

Global Startups is a strategic growth partner for post-MVP technology founders. We work with companies that have built a product and gained early traction, and are now focused on scaling revenue, preparing for investment, or expanding into North America. Our work is structured around execution: Investor readiness (narrative, financial model, and investor pipeline) Sales growth (early traction to repeatable revenue) Market entry (Canada as a gateway to North America) We operate through focused bootcamps, strategic working sessions, and longer-term programs — always hands-on, working directly on each company’s priorities. Based in Toronto, we work with founders from Canada and internationally, connecting them with the right partners, investors, and opportunities within the ecosystem. We are not an accelerator. We work alongside founders to move them forward. Our mission is to strengthen early-stage outcomes by providing: • Investment readiness training and certified bootcamps • Due diligence support and fundraising pathways • North America market entry programs • Pitch Days with VCs, angels, corporates, and government partners • Research, ecosystem insights, and sector-specific white papers Supported by municipal and federal partners, we focus on giving diverse founders the tools, structure, and networks needed to secure early customers, attract investors, and expand into global markets.

Angelo Casanas Director of Innovation Elevate Angelo works at the intersection of startups, corporations, and the broader innovation ecosystem. At Elevate, he leads initiatives that support Canadian startups through partnerships, programming, and collaboration across the tech community.
