🎉 We’re proud to share that Fig has been named one of Canada’s Best Workplaces™ 2026, for the second year in a row! 🎉 Fig was listed as one of the best workplaces in the Under 100 Employees category. This recognition means a lot because it’s based entirely on feedback from our team. It reflects the culture we’ve been building together, day by day, at Fig. Our ranking comes from the Great Place To Work® Canada Trust Index™ survey, which highlighted strengths like fairness, inclusivity, collaboration, and community. These are the everyday moments and shared values that make Fig such a great place to grow and thrive. 🙌 🚀 Monisha Sharma, Chief Revenue Officer, and Jonathan Nguyen, CFA, Chief Operating Officer, were honoured to accept the award on behalf of Fig at the 2026 Best Workplaces in Canada Awards Ceremony last night. But this recognition belongs to every Figster who shows up, supports one another, and helps make this workplace what it is. "Recognition is great, but hearing it from our own team is what makes it real,” said Jon. Monisha shared, “Being recognized again is incredibly meaningful because it comes directly from our team. It speaks to the care, trust, and respect that people bring to Fig every day. We couldn’t be more thrilled.” 👉 See the full list of winners here: https://lnkd.in/eC8tXw2Q To learn more about Fig, visit www.fig.ca. #BestWorkplacesCA #JoinTeamFig #FigAwards #FigSpotlight

Last week, Fig had its first in-person activation at the U SPORTS #WomensHockeyChampionships2026 and it was an incredible experience to see it all come to together. 🏒🏆 As the official #FinancialLiteracyPartner of U SPORTS, it was especially exciting to bring this partnership to life with the community in such a meaningful way. This is just one of the many ways we aim to support student-athletes both in and out of the arena, on their path to financial confidence. From the buzzing energy in the arena to the wonderful conversations we had over the course of a few great nights, it was amazing to connect with so many people and share what we’re building at Fig. A big thank you to the organizers and Ren Kim making this event possible, and a special shout out to our partners over at U SPORTS and Tyler Mulligan on being the connecting thread between us and this great night. And to everyone who stopped by to engage with us, we hope to see you again soon! 🏆 #womenshockey #universitysports #officialfinancialliteracypartner #growth #GSD #FigFinancial #USports

🌍 Today is International Women's Day, a moment to reflect on progress and on the work that still lies ahead. This year, we’re proud to feature an op-ed by our Chief Revenue Officer, Monisha Sharma, exploring a question that goes beyond representation: How can technology help build financial systems that truly work for women? In the article, Monisha looks at how leadership, innovation, and design intersect with women’s financial realities. Representation matters, but the bigger impact happens when women are not only present at the table, but actively shaping what gets built. Some of the themes she explores include: ▪️ Why representation is about more than numbers ▪️ How AI and financial technology can support women’s financial confidence ▪️ The importance of designing financial tools that reflect real-life responsibilities and experiences ▪️ How inclusive leadership can help create systems that empower more people As digital finance continues to evolve, the opportunity is clear. When women help design the tools and systems that shape financial decisions, those solutions can become more transparent, more practical, and more empowering for everyone. 📖 Read the full op-ed to learn how technology and leadership can help move more women from financial anxiety to financial confidence. https://lnkd.in/e_4kfDng #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInTech #WomenInFinance #FinancialInclusion #Fintech #AI #Leadership

March is Fraud Prevention Month 🔐, and it’s a good reminder to pause and ask a simple question: Are we protecting our financial information as carefully as we should? According to the Fig Financial Barometer, 73 percent of Canadians are using more digital tools to manage their money.📱💳 At the same time, 68 percent say they’re concerned about financial fraud when using online services. That concern is real. Digital lending in Canada can be safe, transparent, and regulated. ✅ But scammers rely on urgency, confusion, and financial pressure to take advantage of people who need funds quickly. 👉Check out this article on the Fig website to learn how to spot a fraudulent lender in Canada: https://lnkd.in/ertqQzt4 The article explains what red flags 🚩to watch for, what a legitimate lender should clearly provide, and what to do if you suspect a loan scam. As more Canadians manage their finances online, financial literacy now includes knowing how to identify legitimate lenders and protect your information.🛡️ Take your time. Review the terms. Verify the source. A reputable lender will always welcome careful questions. Better awareness leads to better decisions.
