After extensive research, several team retros, and at least one suspiciously enthusiastic trip to the pet store… we’ve made a bold decision. 🐱 Our UX team is now fully staffed by cats. They’ve got strong opinions on hierarchy (visual and social), insist everything be pixel-purrfect, and will absolutely knock your navigation off the table if it doesn’t spark joy. 🐶 Our dev team has gone to the dogs. They’re paws-itively committed to clean code, thrive on long runs (of scripts), and will dig up even the most buried bugs. 🦜 And our content team? Parrots. I stopped speaking at conferences about a decade ago. Honestly, I found it too stressful. But as the founder of EvolveDigital, I still get pulled back in for one thing: the closing remarks. My main theme: EvolveDigital isn’t just a conference — it’s a community. Evolving Web grew up inside the incredible Drupal community. What we’re trying to do with EvolveDigital is expand that spirit — bringing Drupalists together with technologists, designers, communicators, and the many people they collaborate with every day. Because even in the age of AI, one thing hasn’t changed: people still need people. The best way to adapt isn’t just by learning new tools — it’s by building strong communities around you. Communities of practice. Communities of support. When I was younger, I thought the saying “it’s not about what you know but who you know” was about nepotism. Now I see it differently. It’s about building the community that helps you navigate your life and career. And I’m incredibly grateful that we’ve been able to bring so many amazing people together at this 11th #EvolveDigital/EvolveDrupal event in 3 years.

Our team members Maya and Diana Czuchry celebrated #InternationalWomensDay alongside 125 inspiring women interested in tech at Le Wagon. During the event, they learned how to vibe code using Lovable and built a simple app to create a custom schedule for EvolveDigital that makes it easier to for attendees to create a custom schedule, take notes and connect with other attendees. It was a great opportunity to experiment with AI-powered development, meet other women building in tech, and exchange ideas with an amazing community. #WomenInTech #AI #VibeCoding #LeWagon #EvolveDigital
