Meet student entrepreneur, Ethan Done! His company, PathoScan, is equipping farmers with a portable device – helping them catch hidden plant diseases early with fast, on-site detection. By identifying pathogens before visible damage appears, this portable device gives farmers a crucial window to act, allowing them to protect crop yields, strengthen local food systems and reduce costly losses. Ethan will compete against two other finalists in the Student Entrepreneur Final Round of Competition at the Enactus Canada National Exposition in Montreal this May. The winner will take home $10,000 to accelerate the growth of their business. Check out all three finalists here: https://bit.ly/4bK8a9C University of Saskatchewan
