Our Ottawa Regional Maintenance Masters brought the energy last week as teams put their skills to the test in these annual cleaning and maintenance challenges focused on fun, speed, precision, and efficiency. Over the next few weeks, our teams in the GTA, Montreal, and Vancouver will follow suit with competitions of their own! This event is always a great time, but it’s also more than that. It’s a reflection of the pride our teams take in their work and the standard of excellence they bring to our communities and our residents every day. Volunteering with Shepherds of Good Hope in the Community Kitchen at 216 Murray was a full-circle moment for our PBC team. As Project Manager and General Contractor for 216 Murray, it was especially meaningful to step back into the space to prep and serve lunch alongside the incredible SGH staff. Seeing the kitchen in action and witnessing the tangible impact it has on the community every single day was humbling, eye-opening, and rewarding. A heartfelt thank you to Shepherds of Good Hope for the vital work you do. From serving hundreds of meals at the Community Kitchen daily to supportive housing and wraparound services that create real pathways forward for so many in our city.
