How long does the 42213 Ford Bronco SUV set take to build for two people to build with?

1What's your goal? As fast as possible, or "can we complete this in an evening/weekend" ?Criggie– Criggie2025-10-31 20:25:52 +00:00Commented yesterday

As noted in How long does it take the build the Ewok village , a rough time estimation is 10 seconds per part. In Estimate building time for a given LEGO set other people estimate 300 parts per hour, or 12 seconds per part.
Set 42213 has 943 parts, so I would estimate anywhere between 2.6 and 3.2 hours.
That's for one person, with reasonable experience, focused on the build. Two people focused on building and efficiently splitting work may get that time down to a bit less than 2 hours.
Two people at a leisure pace, while teaching and/or analysing techniques, may take up 4 or even 5 hours.
That depends on the two people's experience/skills/...
And also e.g. the amount of pre-sorting of the elements in the set. I.e. it takes longer if you pour all the elements from the bags in the box into a small container, than if you sort them into a number (the exact value depends on how many you can (comfortably) reach - i.e. your setup also matters) of buckets.
AFOL's (Adult Fan Of LEGO) compete in building sets on time. For small sets it's usually one against one, but for larger sets it's often teams of more people (I've been involved in a speed build where we were five on the team).
