Personal Information

Binary Formations, LLC is in the business of making software, not selling personal information. Binary Formations, LLC only collects and makes use of personal information in the following cases:

• If you sign up for any of our newsletters (opt-in only), you will receive the newsletter via the email that you provided. We do use a third party (currently MailChimp) to manage our newsletter distribution. Other than that, we do not share or sell your information or use it for other purposes.
• If you send a support email, we do keep records of the entire exchange in our support ticket management system, hosted by Glitch (formerly Fog Creek Software). We only use this information for troubleshooting purposes and responding to comments, suggestions, and questions. We do not use it for marketing purposes. In other words, we will not automatically sign you up for our newsletter just because you asked us a question.
• If you participate in our online forums, your information is used only in the context of the forum.

Under My Roof® Privacy

Any information you enter into your inventory in Under My Roof is stored locally, on your devices, on Apple’s iCloud servers (if you have sync or iCloud device backups enabled), and/or on the devices of any others you explicitly share your inventory with using the built-in sharing feature. Binary Formations cannot view or access your inventory data in any way unless you explicitly share your inventory file with us for troubleshooting purposes. In those cases, we delete any copies once the problem is solved or beforehand, should you request we do so and you can remove our access at any time.

To provide barcode lookup functionality, Under My Roof may send product barcode information (UPC, EAN, or ISBN codes) to trusted third-party services in order to retrieve product names, descriptions, or images. We only send the barcode number, we do not transmit any personally identifiable data.

My Body Metrics Privacy

Any information you enter into My Body Metrics is stored locally, on your devices, and on Apple’s iCloud servers (if you have sync or iCloud device backups enabled). Binary Formations cannot view or access your data in any way.

Binary Formations Websites

We use Google Analytics, which uses Cookies, to see how our sites are being used. No personal information is provided to Google; instead usage statistics are collected to see how our sites are used and to gain insight on how we can improve them.

By visiting Binary Formations websites, including binaryformations.com, undermyroof.app, and our other related sites, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice. Note that we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies for web sites to which we may link to. The privacy policy may be updated from time to time.
