Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of Medicines for Europe to our Baxter production plant and warehouse in Lessines 👍. It was a great visit, connecting two worlds: manufacturing and operations, and policy/advocacy experts. Continuing our collaboration to be able to save and sustain lives though knowledge sharing and discussions. Lots of gratitude 👏 to Emeline Bataille and Isabelle Verbecq for the logistics and organization and to Tony De vos and Abdellah EL KACEM for your great explanation and passion 👍 while guiding us through the production plant and Baxter Distribution Center Europe! Also thank you to franck lebeault for walking us through sustainability efforts 🌎 Baxter International Inc. is engaging in: reducing the water waste, recollection of heat and reuse of water, reducing cardboard use, installation of solar panels and optimizing waste management. Jeudi 6 novembre dernier, Baxter a eu le plaisir de participer au symposium organisé par Sciensano, dédié à la surveillance clinique des infections et à l’antibiogouvernance. 💡 Cet événement a mis en lumière les avancées majeures en Belgique dans le suivi de la consommation d’antimicrobiens, ainsi que les perspectives prometteuses pour renforcer la prévention des infections associées aux soins. Dans ce cadre, Baxter s’engage aux côtés des établissements de santé pour: ✅ améliorer la surveillance épidémiologique des infections, ✅ optimiser l’usage des antibiotiques, ✅ valoriser les données cliniques pour renforcer la sécurité des patients.
