About us

Ravical is the agentic operating layer for professional services firms. Built for accounting and tax firms, HR and payroll providers, and insurance brokers, Ravical identifies the work that should be done for each client, plans and executes it across the tools the firm already uses, and prices it by outcome. The result: firms grow revenue without adding headcount. Ravical is based in London and Ghent, serves firms across Europe, and is backed by Lakestar.

  • Heading to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit in Amsterdam tomorrow? Catch Ravical CTO Ken Bastiaensen at 1 pm at the Startup Loft stage.

Billions of tokens. Per day. When building organisational AI, you need to consider agentic security, observability, and reliability on a whole new level. Tomorrow I will be speaking at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit about deploying Al agents at scale. I’ll talk about how Ravical applies these patterns to build a unified agentic system for expert advisory services, enabling them to scale their AI workflows. Spotting the work, starting out, elevating it to the right expert for review – up to billing. Come find me at the Startup Loft stage at 1 pm.

We just shipped a first set of workflow templates for our early access users. Instead of building a workflow from scratch, these templates offer a starting point. Guided by our workflow builder agent, you turn a template into a workflow that is fully configured to your firm's needs and your own. The current set is just a start. Curious to see where it grows from here.

  • Your firm is interested in AI, but your tech stack wasn't built for it. You're not alone. It's a common concern we hear from accounting and advisory firms exploring what's next.   Join Ravical UK Country Lead Wouter van Lierde for a 30-minute session on how forward-thinking firms are making AI work alongside the systems they already have.   What you'll take away:  - practical approaches to integrating AI with your existing technology - examples from firms navigating this right now - answers to the questions holding your team back 15–20 minutes of insight, followed by open Q&A.    Registration link below!

  • Today, we're launching the new Ravical Workspace. A platform built to help accounting and professional services firms run work across their entire client base and price it by the value it delivers instead of the time it takes. How it works? 🔎 assesses a firm’s client book and spots the work that needs to happen, across client communications, financial data, documents, and external triggers. 💻 executes that work end-to-end through pre-built and custom workflows, pulling the right client context, identifying the relevant specialist inside the firm, and producing a draft ready for expert review and sign-off, with a human in the loop at all times. 💸 once reviewed, a billing agent analyses the firm’s pricing history, client context, and the value of the work delivered to support value-based pricing decisions.

  • For our recent event "Value-based Pricing and AI in Accountancy", a select group of Dutch accounting firm leaders gathered in Utrecht. On the menu: a panel discussion on what comes next for the profession. On stage: Joris Van der Gucht (CEO, Ravical), Ken Bastiaensen (CTO, Ravical) and David Versteeg (Chief Transformation & Information Officer, Flynth), moderated by Remco Janssen (Proudly Media). The theme: value-based pricing in accountancy. An excellent example of an idea that has been around for a very long time, and for which AI is proving to be a much-needed unblocking factor. The discussion that unfolded was lively: → The profession has spent 15 years digitising for efficiency, and that work matters, but speed inside an hourly model has a ceiling. Pricing on value is how firms break through it. → Knowledge is now widely available, and we see the same pattern medicine went through: ten years ago Dr Google was the villain; today Dutch GPs ask whether you've checked Thuisarts.nl first. → To break the billable-hour reflex, a mindset change is needed. As one partner put it during the debate: "I asked my CFO: that BMW of yours, do you look at it and think about how many hours it took to build? Neither do our clients about our work. The radical step is to stop doing the hour-based math in your own head." This coming week we're announcing something that moves this from conversation to practice. Watch this space. #Accountancy #ValueBasedPricing #AI

  • Sneak peek.

We gave our users a blank canvas. More specifically: an open-ended Ravical agent, plugged into their internal tools and client communications, with domain knowledge built in, and no prescribed use case. The creativity that followed wasn't something we could have planned for. Use cases emerged across categories: client communication, daily quality-of-life fixes, training support for juniors, deeply technical advisory prep. But above all the best examples aren't bespoke one-offs. They're repeatable patterns that other colleagues could adopt immediately for their own work. We built something to double down on this that we're launching next week. Sneak peek below.
