  • A rare moment for our UK fleet! We recently had all three aircraft types (AW139, AW169, H175) in our UK fleet together in the same place at the same time in Blackpool, an extremely rare occurrence and a fantastic photo opportunity. The H175 joined operations to support critical additional demand from one of our customers, showcasing the flexibility and collaboration across our UK bases. A huge thank you to our Aberdeen team for releasing the aircraft and helping us continue to deliver the high level of service our customers rely on every day. A great example of teamwork, operational excellence, and our commitment to supporting our customers when it matters most. #NHVGroup

  • NHV recently participated in the OEUK Aviation Conference 2026, where industry representatives explored the conference theme: "Enhancing Performance & Embracing Change.” Representing NHV, our UK Safety Manager, Emma-Louise Buchan, delivered a presentation focused on the role of safety as the operational thread connecting every discipline within offshore aviation. The presentation explored how modern aviation safety extends far beyond compliance and investigation activity, instead functioning as an integrated operational system linking Ground Operations, Engineering, CAMO, Flight Operations, and Safety Management Systems. A key focus of the presentation was the importance of understanding offshore aviation as one connected operation, where information, risk, and operational pressures constantly move between departments. Topics discussed included: -The role of Ground Operations in establishing critical safety barriers -The importance of human factors, reporting culture, and procedural discipline within Part-145 maintenance environments -How CAMO activities such as reliability monitoring and defect trend analysis support proactive risk management -The role of Flight Operations in managing dynamic operational threats offshore -The importance of safety culture, psychological safety, and shared responsibility across all disciplines The presentation also highlighted the evolution of modern safety management from reactive investigation towards proactive identification of weak signals through safety reporting, audits, FDM, HUMS, operational feedback, and trend analysis. The core message delivered throughout the presentation was that safety is not owned by one department alone. Instead, safe and resilient operations depend on strong connections between operational disciplines and a collective commitment to maintaining standards, communication, professionalism, and continuous learning. Well done, Emma-Louise! #NHVGroup #BuiltOnSafetyPoweredByService #OEUK

A farewell to our last two idle Dauphins! Yesterday, May 6, 2026, Airbus Helicopters, together with our P-145 team, successfully shipped the final two idle Dauphins. MSN 6891 (TU-HNH) departed for the port of Antwerp, with Brazil as its final destination, while MSN 6843 (TU-HNE) headed to Marseille. For NHV, this marks the final step in the long process of repurposing the idle Dauphin fleet, an important milestone made possible through strong collaboration, commitment, and teamwork across all parties involved. Great job to everyone involved! #NHVGroup #Dauphins

  • Last week Friday, 01/05/2026, was a special and significant day at NHV in Esbjerg. Jan Reinert had his final day as an active pilot, as he turns 65 on Monday 11/05/2026. Jan began his career in the Danish Army Air Service in June 1983. In 1991, he met the love of his life, his wife Jette, a meeting that was almost meant to be. It was originally Jan’s colleague Kim who was supposed to conduct a sightseeing flight in Sønderborg that day, but instead it was Jan and that is where he met Jette. Today, Jan and Jette have three grown children and three grandchildren. Jan has had a long and impressive career with more than 19,500 flight hours. He has flown for companies such as Atlantic Airways, Maersk Air, and Sterling Airways. In May 2009, he joined DanCopter, where he flew for many years. In 2015, he took six months of leave and flew for LEGO. In 2020, he continued his career with Babcock, but fortunately he returned to NHV in June 2023, where he resumed offshore flying. For many years, Jan has played a key role in transporting personnel to and from installations in the North Sea for various companies. Jan will be missed as a pilot, but we are very pleased and proud that he will continue with NHV in Esbjerg. Going forward, he will contribute in the training department and in the simulator, where his extensive experience and knowledge will continue to benefit both colleagues and the organization. We want to thank Jan for his great efforts over the years and for his consistently dedicated approach to his work. He has shared an invaluable amount of experience and knowledge and for that, we are deeply grateful. #NHVGroup #Pilot #Esbjerg
