🚀 La scale-up bruxelloise Keyrock devient la huitième licorne belge La Belgique compte une huitième licorne! À la suite d'une nouvelle levée de fonds record, la scale-up bruxelloise Keyrock est désormais valorisée à hauteur de 1,1 milliard de dollars. L'investisseur principal de cette levée de fonds (série C) est la banque britannique Standard Chartered. L'opération, qui s'étendra jusqu'en juin, permettra à Keyrock de réunir jusqu'à 100 millions de dollars. Kevin de Patoul, CEO de Keyrock: "Nous voulons nous renforcer sur le marché et participer à sa consolidation. Cela pourra se faire notamment via des acquisitions." It’s been eight years since Juan David Mendieta Villegas, Jeremy De Groodt, and I closed Keyrock’s seed round. Since then, we’ve barely had time to catch our breath. Keyrock has evolved from pure market making to launching OTC and options desks. We doubled down on our onchain capabilities and now build pioneering DeFi infrastructure. And last year, we took our biggest leap yet by launching Keyrock asset and wealth management. All of that thanks to an amazing team of 220+. Today, I’m proud to share another headline: we’ve secured Series C funding from SC Ventures by Standard Chartered, Ripple, and other key investors, valuing Keyrock at $1.1 billion. Through ups and downs, Keyrock continues to focus on building long term value to transform markets.
