Updates

  • Installing more than 100 BoxCatcher systems annually requires more than technology alone. It also requires safe, efficient and predictable execution in complex terminal environments. To support our installation teams, CAMCO invested in dedicated installation equipment, including extendable access cages and a 70 m high-reach Ruthmann boom lift. The extendable access cages were co-developed together with a specialised manufacturer, based directly on real installation experience in the field. The result is a safer, more stable and more efficient way to perform installation and maintenance work at height. By reducing dependency on temporary access solutions, CAMCO improves flexibility, planning and execution across BoxCatcher projects worldwide. Because in terminal automation, execution capability matters just as much as the technology itself. #CAMCO #BoxCatcher #PortTechnology #TerminalAutomation #Engineering #Safety #ProjectExecution

  • Working at height in container terminals requires safe and reliable access. To support the installation and maintenance of our BoxCatcher systems, we developed dedicated access cages designed specifically for Camco operations. Suspended from a crane spreader and equipped with extendable platforms, they allow our teams to carry out welding and rail installation work in a controlled and stable way. The cages can be transported as a standard container and deployed wherever needed. Two units are already operational and supporting installations worldwide. This year, they will support the installation of 100+ new BoxCatcher systems across multiple terminals around the globe.
