At MetLife, BeWell Week is a global reminder of why well-being matters by supporting our people to stay resilient, energized, and at their best. This year’s theme, “Power Up: Build Energy for the Workday,” came to life by helping us recharge, refocus, and build sustainable habits. In Bangladesh, we curated a week of experience so everyone could find their own way to pause and power up. It began with a practical financial wellness session by Nowfel Anower, Assistant Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer, MetLife Bangladesh who simplified how our own products and offerings can support us as employees. Colleagues then explored their creative side through “Sip & Paint” and a hands-on “Terrarium Making workshop” with Terrarium Dhaka. A professional chef led “Cook Smart, Eat Healthy,” where participants prepared their own power salads, followed by a tactile “Pottery Making Workshop” with Clay Station, experiencing both wheel work and finishing. The energy lifted further with an enthusiastic “Zumba Session” while the Indoor Football Tiebreaker brought FIFA-like excitement, with intense matches and strong team spirit. BeWell translates our purpose into everyday action, supporting our people to stay resilient, so we can consistently show up at our best and truly live Always with you, building a more confident future. #BeWell #PowerUp #EmployeeWellbeing

"Care" is no longer a one-size-fits-all concept. Our latest Bangladesh Employee Benefit Trends Study reveals a massive generational shift: 83% of Gen Z now view flexibility as a core need, compared to 60% of Millennials.
"Care" is no longer a one-size-fits-all concept. Our latest Bangladesh Employee Benefit Trends Study reveals a massive generational shift: 83% of Gen Z now view flexibility as a core need, compared to 60% of Millennials. But let’s be clear: it’s not just about working from home. For the modern workforce, flexibility is the ultimate expression of trust and autonomy. When organizations stop treating flexibility as a "simple perk" and start treating it as a fundamental requirement, the benefits are undeniable: Higher Retention: Meeting people where they are builds long-term loyalty. Stronger Talent Brand: Attracting top performers who value results over hours. Individual Growth: Autonomy empowers people to bring their best selves to work. Understanding these preferences isn't just about being "nice”. It’s a strategic move to build an adaptive, future-ready workplace.
