Dr. Jamil Kendall (C'12)
Jamil Kendall grew up in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in 2012 before embarking on a brief career in the orthopedic device industry. He later returned to Washington, DC, to pursue his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, where elected to the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he received multiple awards for his leadership, patient care, and research contributions. During his residency, he also led the Resident Diversity Committee, advocating for the needs of both providers and patients from underserved communities.
Kendall furthered his training with a fellowship at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University in Chicago, focusing on primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
