    - In collaboration with video production company produce an “explainer video” that served to introduced the ITS Platform concept to key investment decision makers across Victorian Government.
    - Define requirements for two specific use cases for the platform.

Key to the success of the joint venture business was the effective use of technology to deliver scale and efficiency for the business, bringing together the use of order management, robotic manufacturing, building information management, logistics systems and financial management.

    Identified and defined an architecture that brought all of these elements to support the proposed business but also developed a detailed cost analysis (capital and operational expenditure) of ICT costs

    Tim was engaged by Telstra to undertake a strategic review into their principal asset management system used to manage their telecommunications assets and related infrastructure (pits, pipes and ducts). The review was driven by changes in Telstra's role as a result of the National Broadband Network and Telstra's sale of network assets to NBNCo. Tim assessed the impact on the asset management solutions and developed a strategic roadmap for the solution.

  • Custom Fleet - Demerger IT Architecture and Roadmap

    As part of GE's global divestment of companies, the Custom Fleet business was sold to Element Financial. Tim lead a team of IT architects to assess how Custom Fleet would be separated from the GE systems environment and what Custom Fleet needed to establish in its own IT environment.

  • Coles Liquor - Core Retail and Logistics System

    Oversaw the delivery of application managed services for the core retail and logistics system for Coles Liquor. Involved in planning and implementation of IT system changes to improve the performance of the supply chain. Lead a successful tender for a new multi-year managed services deal.

  • Bureau of Meteorology - IT Cost Management

    Prepared a proposed budget for a new IT Division consisting of consolidated IT functions across the Bureau. Undertook an analysis of their $60 million IT spend and verified costs against industry benchmarks.

  • Centro - Datawarehouse Review

    Undertook an analysis of retail sales reporting (via data warehouse), identifying issues that represented a corporate risk and that had implications for corporate reporting to the ASX. Made recommendations on remediation activities required.
