EAM is a multi year (2012-2014), multi industry sector business transformation program designed to standardise asset management practices across the enterprise into a common operating model, enable business consolidation and reduce financial & operational risk. Key elements of the project have included:
• Standardisation across five business units of; asset lifecycle management processes from acquisition to disposal; asset classification framework, chart of accounts, and management…EAM is a multi year (2012-2014), multi industry sector business transformation program designed to standardise asset management practices across the enterprise into a common operating model, enable business consolidation and reduce financial & operational risk. Key elements of the project have included:
• Standardisation across five business units of; asset lifecycle management processes from acquisition to disposal; asset classification framework, chart of accounts, and management reporting
• Integration of the core EAM Asset system (Maximo) with financial asset registrar, chart of accounts, purchasing, inventory and billing systems, as well as time and attendance, and HR systems
• High performance team which at program peak comprised of 50 dedicated staff and contractors, and an additional 45 seconded employees to deliver against EAM objectives.
• Program delivered one month early, and under budget, though significant business upheaval which included the de-scope of a significant business unit due to the sale of that business and the addition of other business though acquisition.Other creators -
