You're setting up a new office space. How can you make it more sustainable?
The other thing to consider is whether the furniture can be easily repaired. Do the upholstered pieces come with removable covers, for example? We know that this is the part of the sofa, chair, booth that wears out first. Also, : -are there local people that can carry out any refurbishment of the furniture in future, -do they carry spare parts etc, -what sort of warranty does the manufacturer offer, - Does the furniture have any certification regarding VOCs eg GECA etc

What are the key drivers and barriers for adopting circular economy principles?
A switch to a circular economics model will have big benefits for organisations and society as resource use decreases. It will require a rethink of current business models and this is the most difficult part of the transition. In our experience, mindshifts around the speed of investment returns will need to change to a longer term perspective. Regulation is a critical factor in driving this.

How can you design sustainably for the future?
Designing for function and not catering to fads, making sure products are easy to repair to ensure they are used for as long as possible, use less virgin materials and where the end of life is considered at the outset. Then there is also design in the broader sense / thinking about the design of business models, systems and services.
