    GSODA is Geelong’s oldest and longest running amateur theatre companies and one of Australia’s longest (and oldest) running Junior companies. The Company prides itself on bringing high calibre productions to the stage as well as offering training and opportunity in all areas of the performing arts.

    GSODA prides itself on the development of its young members and empowers them through encouragement and personal development. Many of the Junior players over time have gone onto bigger and brighter experiences and recall their time with GSODA as one of their most rewarding.

The role of the School Council is to help provide governance to the running of the Primary School in accordance with State Government School Council regulations. The role of the President also requires participation on the Finance Sub-Committee which has responsibility of review of all finance matters including budget and expense approvals.…

    I was a member of the Belmont Primary School Council from 2015, becoming President in 2017, until my last child finished at the School in 2022. The role of the School Council is to help provide governance to the running of the Primary School in accordance with State Government School Council regulations. The role of the President also requires participation on the Finance Sub-Committee which has responsibility of review of all finance matters including budget and expense approvals. Involvement in the annual Strategic Plan development and participation in Regional activities regarding School policy as required.
    In 2022 we went through the process of appointing a new Principal.

Specifically this volunteer role provides the coordination of the hair and makeup design and in-theatre/backstage support for the GSODA Juniors, the 11-17yo section of the Company. These Juniors audition for a place in the Company, putting on two productions a year, and leave once they reach the age of 17.…

The Type 1 Foundation has raised over $250,000 in the past 5 years to support people living with Type 1 Diabetes. As a Board Member I helped guide the direction, positioning and the governance of the Foundation. As a volunteer I have helped to run the organisation and to keep administration costs to a minimum with over 95% of funds raised going…
