You need to process payments for your online business. How do you choose the right tools?
Selling on a Marketplace like Amazon makes this easy. You can find multiple PSPs to bind your multicurrency account to your store making it easier to scale across border down the track. Most payment processors will already have this product capability available for you off the shelf for your own e-commerce site, make sure your technical team is familiar with this type of code though.

You need to process payments for your online business. How do you choose the right tools?
Payment processing can be expensive, especially when selling cross border. Offering local currency payment options for your customers is crucial but so too is the option to collect, hold and control the movement of the sales revenue across borders. By binding a multicurrency account to your online store sellers can also avoid double conversion at high FX margins. So search for a PSP that offers this product capability.

You need to process payments for your online business. How do you choose the right tools?
For many online businesses selling to a global audience is critical for growth. Offering local currency pricing and domestic payments methods can make it easier for buyers in overseas markets. Easier for them to compare cost against the competition and cheaper for them to pay you. Binding a multicurrency account to your online store can not only increase your competitiveness in the foreign market but save you 5% or more on every sale in fees and hidden foreign currency conversion margins charged by banks and card processors. There are several options out there, may be worth looking for a non bank alternative for collecting foreign currency payments. Don't make it an afterthought as it can be hard to switch settlement options later.
