If MSPs can’t hear you, they can’t buy from you. In this space, invisible voice means zero brand. MSPs buy people before platforms. Faces, voices, stories. When I work with MSP-focused startups, one pattern shows up fast. Brilliant platforms. Silent founders. No events. No posts. No point of view in public. Channel partners cannot repeat a story they never hear. MSP owners scroll past logos, stop for humans. My own work changed when I treated visibility as a core function. Events, masterclasses, daily posts. Not vanity. Revenue infrastructure. Personal presence does three things: → Shortens time to trust → Translates tech into business impact → Builds a demand signal before sales calls MSPs buy people before platforms; hearing your voice is hearing your value. Simple place to start: • Define one ICP in the MSP world Describe size, stack, main revenue risk. • Name one painful problem Use words MSP owners use with each other, not vendor jargon. • Build one clear story Problem → what changes with your platform → business outcome in plain language. • Pick one channel for your voice Weekly post, monthly masterclass, short video recap from events. • Turn this into a small system Outline, record, post, gather feedback, refine next round. No founder needs a perfect personal brand. Leaders need a consistent, visible voice.

𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗣𝗨𝗕 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗨𝗗 Two successful developers met in a pub and decided to go into business together.  With no formal agreements in place, they pooled their resources, shared expensive machinery, and took on large projects across New South Wales. But when the relationship soured, the handshake deal quickly unravelled. 🔵 They ended up in court. 🔵 One developer later accused the other of stealing the shared equipment. 🔵 The “theft” was reported to police, an insurance claim was lodged… and one of the developers walked away with a $315,000 payout. That could have been the end of the story. When we were engaged, we uncovered a very different truth: 🔵 Verified CCTV footage showed the claimant himself moving the equipment weeks before the insurance claim. 🔵 Independent checks confirmed the footage was genuine. 🔵 Interview evidence exposed major inconsistencies in his account. When confronted with the footage, the claimant insisted it was falsified or AI-generated.  He refused further cooperation, terminated his interview, and ignored all follow-ups. 💡 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗗 🔵 Handshake deals are risky - partnerships need formal agreements to protect all parties. 🔵 Fraud often hides in plain sight - but evidence doesn’t lie. 🔵 Independent investigation is critical when reputations, money, and trust are at stake. If you can get a free website from your aggregator but it generates zero customers in 6 months. Is it free? 🤦‍♂️ Kim got advice that any website would do for her mortgage broking business Big mistake. When she started out, she was offered a $160+ monthly marketing package from her aggregator with a "free" website that looked professional enough at first glance. The problem? It had identical content to hundreds of other brokers and didn't even include a bio about her. Six months later: zero leads from her website. She still didn't show on Google or ChatGPT when her network and word of mouth referrals searched for her. Meanwhile, other brokers at aggregator events were getting enquiries regularly. That "free" website had actually cost her six months of potential business. For a few years Farzan and I have been running two SaaS products. We now decided to focus on Australian mortgage brokers. Kaddim - helps brokers collect documents. Testimonial Donut - helps brokers get more reviews. Both solve real problems. Both have paying customers. Both work. But here's what we learned: When people don't leave, you've solved something real. We kept asking ourselves: Should we chase the new shiny thing? Should we stick with what's working? Should we do both? The answer came from our customers. Kaddim users haven't churned. Not in years. That tells you everything. So we made the call: Australian mortgage brokers. Both products.
