You're managing a diverse team. How do you tailor feedback to suit each member's skills and knowledge?
In my view, a managers role is to provide the tools and knowledge needed, the vision to guide their priorities, and the autonomy needed to achieve it. Beyond that, adapting your style is really mostly about connecting with their own goals and ambitions, and showing them how demonstrating excellence brings those aspirations closer. A good manager should motivate, inspire, support and then give their team the opportunity to succeed and/or learn. A good team requires a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and a shared vision. To the extent that diversity play a part, it’s really incumbent on the manager to be the universal adaptor between their efforts and shared success.

You're analyzing social media metrics for decision-making. How can you ensure data accuracy and integrity?
Social media metrics are purely lead indicators, the truth lies either in your CRM or your revenue. The in-platform metrics are great for comparing like for like performance, but do nothing to describe the opportunity or value created for your business.

Here's how you can establish credibility and authority in the digital strategy industry as a freelancer.
I've seen this done successfully in a few ways. 1. Give first. Be generous with your time, input, and expertise. Consider working with for purpose and NFP enterprises on a pro bono, or discounted rate. 2. Present. Whether it's to a business group, conference, or lunch and learn environment, showcase your knowledge and application to an audience. 3. Be early. Notice emerging trends, new platforms, and areas where you and others can win. Share that knowledge across platforms. 4. Be honest. Be forthright with your missteps, and seek learning opportunities within them that others can benefit from. 5. Share the wins. Beat your chest when it's relevant. Show others what working with you looks like from concept -> execution -> outcome.
