As we mark National Reconciliation Week, we're sharing the story behind Wormald’s Indigenous logo and what it represents. Created as part of our commitment to reconciliation and inclusion, the design brings together the iconic Wormald "W" with colours inspired by the Aboriginal flag and patterns reminiscent of traditional Aboriginal artwork. Woven throughout the design is a swirl of coloured dots, symbolising the casting of a net through time to connect the past with the present. More than a logo, it serves as a visual representation of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and our focus on building stronger relationships and creating opportunities for Australia’s First Nations Peoples. #NationalReconciliationWeek #RAP #Wormald #Respect #Community #FirstNations

Wormald’s scholarship program continues to make a meaningful impact at La Trobe University, supporting its second recipient in pursuing their academic goals. As we mark National Reconciliation Week (May 27 - June 3), the initiative aligns with Wormald’s Reconciliation Action Plan - expanding access to education and creating opportunities and pathways for Australia’s First Nations Peoples. This year’s recipient, Lillian Smith, an Indigenous student from Tasmania studying Biological Sciences, is using the scholarship to ease financial pressure and focus on building a future in science. “Receiving the scholarship not only relieved financial stress but showed that others believe in me and my future,” said Lillian. To learn more about Lillian’s journey and the impact of the scholarship, read our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/giHBc8Z8 #NRW2026 #NationalReconciliationWeek #LaTrobeUniversity #Education #Wormald #MakeYourImpact

Wormald was proud to support the Graymont and B&K Bulk Haulage Tamworth Charity Golf Day on May 8, helping raise funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service - Northern NSW - an essential emergency service supporting communities across Northern NSW. The event brought together local businesses and supporters for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. Representing Wormald were Daniel Gow, Kevin Farley, James Maslin, Chris McIntosh, Nicholas Young, Joshua Circosta, Michael Cetera, and John Shaw, who played the course. The event raised $38,400 to support the Rescue Helicopter’s crews and medical teams as they assist more than 1,600 people across the region each year. We’re proud to support such an important service and the communities it protects. #WestpacRescueHelicopter #Wormald #GivingBack #EmergencyServices #CommunitySupport

National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering, recognising the people who dedicate their time to helping others. Held from May 18-24, this year’s theme, “Your Year to Volunteer”, encourages more Australians to get involved. At Wormald and GAAM Emergency Products, supporting communities extends beyond the workplace. As part of our commitment to making a positive impact, many of our team volunteer as firefighters, surf lifesavers and community safety advocates to help support others. To mark the week, we spoke with several employees about what inspires them to volunteer and why giving back to the community matters.
