It’s always exciting when we get to see Operational AI in action, and this example is a standout! Northern Arizona University handed over a mountain of building documentation to Willow and asked to make it usable. Instead of treating that as a document‑management problem, we treated it as a systems‑understanding problem. By using generative AI to ingest the entire library and map out how equipment, spaces, and systems relate to each other, we worked on making a knowledge graph for NAU that now supports analytics, root‑cause analysis, and commissioning insights tied back to original design intent.
