Advancing kidney health takes partnership. This National Kidney Month, Team Vertex was proud to stand with the National Kidney Foundation New England Chapter at their annual Honors Event and Evening of Giving. For five years, we’ve supported this community-driven event alongside advocates, caregivers, and leaders working to expand education, resources, and support for people living with kidney disease. Our teams had the privilege of participating in the 52nd Annual European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) Meeting. The Vertex ANZ team walked alongside Rare Cancers Australia and the community over the weekend to raise funds in the annual #KosiChallenge. This powerful event brings people together to support Australians affected by rare and less common cancers by climbing to the summit of Australia's highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko. We're proud to support a cause that touches all of us, through our own experiences or those of someone we care about. For people living with serious kidney diseases, the disease can be asymptomatic and may go unnoticed, progressing silently for years. That’s why addressing unmet needs and improving patient outcomes is essential.
