  • As global electricity demand continues increasing, discussions around long-term energy resilience are becoming increasingly important. The future energy transition will require more than short-term solutions. It will depend on infrastructure, grid stability, industrial scalability, and reliable baseload power capable of supporting modern economies. Advanced nuclear systems are increasingly being revisited as part of broader conversations surrounding sustainable long-term energy development. #NuclearEnergy #EnergyTransition #Infrastructure #Thorium #FutureEnergy If you’d like to actively support our work and help sustain it, our Patreon is here: https://lnkd.in/dqsWiUm

  • Advancing the Conversation on Sustainable Aviation. Recently, The Thorium Network’s Global Ambassador, #DusyaLyubovskaya, participated as a speaker in the G100: Mission Million #Engineering & #Energy webinar, “Powering the Skies: The Future of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (#SAF).” The discussion examined potential pathways for reducing the environmental impact of aviation while maintaining reliability, affordability, and long-term energy security. During her presentation, #Dusya discussed how advanced nuclear #fission technologies may support future #aviation ecosystems by providing dependable, low-carbon energy for fuel production and related infrastructure. The conversation also touched on the potential for reducing energy costs, improving supply stability, and supporting the broader adoption of sustainable aviation solutions. In addition, the presentation briefly explored how #blockchain technology could contribute to transparency and traceability within future #SAF supply chains. As #global demand for aviation continues to grow, constructive dialogue between the energy, transportation, and technology sectors remains essential in evaluating practical and scalable solutions for the future. We thank #G100 #Engineering & #Energy for bringing together experts from diverse disciplines to share perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing the aviation industry.

  • The Thorium Network proudly congratulates George Maweu on his election as Vice President of the #NuclearSociety of #Kenya. • One of the biggest misconceptions about nuclear energy is that it cannot coexist with renewable energy. In reality, future energy systems will likely require a combination of: • nuclear • renewables • storage • modernized grids • advanced industrial systems The future will require energy diversity, not ideological extremes. People think nuclear plants produce electricity. They do. But the real product is predictability. Predictable fuel costs. Predictable output. Predictable reliability. Predictable long‑term planning. That’s why nuclear matters strategically. Modern economies struggle when volatility spreads through the system: • volatile gas prices • volatile supply chains • volatile grid stability In a world where everything else is becoming harder to forecast, nuclear is one of the few assets that gives governments, operators, and investors something invaluable: a stable foundation to build on. Predictability isn’t a by‑product of nuclear. It is the product. Image credit: TVA, Watts Bar Unit 1 PWR NPP, in Tennessee, USA

  • Energy security and economic stability are deeply connected. Without reliable energy: • industries slow down • infrastructure weakens • innovation becomes harder • economic growth becomes unstable This is why many nations are revisiting long-term nuclear and advanced energy strategies as part of future development planning.
