Global leader in AI-powered construction procurement software - delivering control before contracts are signed

About us

Construction has digitised how projects are delivered, but not how capital is committed. In a 2-4% margin environment, commercial leaders are accountable for outcomes they often cannot fully see. A 1% movement on a $500m project represents $5m in exposure. Up to 70–80% of margin risk is embedded before contracts are signed - at the pre-contract stage where subcontractor commitments lock in financial exposure. Yet this critical moment is still managed through spreadsheets, email chains and fragmented workflows. When control is fragmented, margin is exposed before delivery even begins. Control Before Commitment ProcurePro restores control at the moment exposure is created. We give construction commercial leaders structured visibility before capital is committed - aligning procurement, commercial and project teams around a single source of truth. For commercial leaders, that means confidence before signing. For procurement teams, that means clarity and faster comparisons. For project teams, that means fewer downstream surprises. Powered by Procurement Intelligence ProcurePro introduces Procurement Intelligence to construction - a structured, data-driven platform that governs commitment before contracts are executed. We surface real-time intelligence across: • Scope coverage gaps • Pricing variance • Supply chain exposure • Budget alignment • Commitment benchmarking • Subcontractor bid comparison Delivery systems optimise execution. Procurement Intelligence governs commitment. As a global leader in construction procurement software, ProcurePro protects margin, capital, and commercial certainty across the pre-contract lifecycle. Scale • $38bn+ in supported construction value • 1,500+ active projects • 50,000+ subcontractor bid events analysed annually • Operating across Australia, the United Kingdom and the Middle East ProcurePro gives construction commercial leaders control before contracts are signed.

Everyone knows the 80/20 rule. But most AI tools ignore it. They're built for the 20% - the complex, unpredictable questions you didn't see coming. And they make you do the work to get there. Open the tool. Ask the right question. Hope you asked the right thing. But 80% of what a Commercial Manager needs to know is completely predictable. The same signals, week after week. Which trades are at risk? What's sitting in approval? Where's the margin going? Which contracts haven't been signed? That 80% shouldn't require a question. It should just be there. So that's where we're starting with our Digital Assistant - Cover the predictable 80% proactively, through an Insight → Action → Outcome loop. You see the signal. You take the action. The risk is mitigated. The outcome is tracked. No digging. No asking. The signal comes to you. Get that foundation right, and something much more powerful becomes possible... Because once your portfolio's pulse is already being monitored - once the noise is cleared and the data is live and trusted - you can ask it anything. "Summarise letting gains and losses for this trade over the past 12 months." "Where are we most exposed heading into Q2?" "Which subcontractors are we over-reliant on right now?" Questions specific to your organisation, your contracts, your history. Answered instantly. That's the vision. A Digital Assistant that never lets the predictable slip through the cracks - and gives you genuine intelligence on demand when you need to go deeper. Most AI tools started at the wrong end. We're not. The strategy is locked. The name of our digital assistant… less locked - But we're working on it.

  • Your pricing data is already there. You're just not using it. Every tender you run, every quote you receive, every package you award - that's live pricing intelligence. Most of it disappears into an inbox or a spreadsheet and is never seen again. AI changes that. ProcurePro aggregates your historical tender data into a searchable, always-current benchmark library. So the next time your QS is pricing a concrete package or your commercial director is negotiating with a subbie, they're working from real numbers - not gut feel, not whoever had the strongest opinion in the room. That's where control starts. Not at award - at the moment you're forming a view on price. When your whole team is anchored to the same benchmarks, you get consistent decisions across every project. Fewer surprises at final account. Less margin left on the table because one person estimated conservatively and another didn't. The data was always yours. Now it gives you control over how you buy.

At ProcurePro we don't particularly like sitting in a stuffy room, hearing talk after talk... we like going to events where we can meet our peers and learn from them/share war stories - so we do the same for our customers! We brought together 150 senior construction professionals, from all over Aus, on the harbour and only gave Alastair Blenkin 🏗️ 5 minutes to talk. That's it. What I love most about putting on a non-stuffy-corporate conference, is seeing everyone chatting and learning from their peers. No sitting through flashy "me, me, me" style tech launches or hour long speeches... the industry has enough stress, if we can take away some of that with some great weather, plenty of food and drinks and good laughs... then of course we're going to do that. I heard a bunch of conversations that went like this: "They're using ai like this, we've been trying to do the same" "I still keep in touch with people I met at your last event" "It's my only chance to meet people doing my exact same role at a different company" "Thanks for never doing a hard sell on us, it feels like we're on a boat with friends... naturally we're going to buy ProcurePro" We also had a magician, who guessed my phone pin code and Tegan's bank card number, so we're definitely changing all of those - but he was amazing, and I will only ever attend events with magicians. See you next year - different city?

Over the past few years, we've been lucky enough to interview some incredible teams across the construction industry. In every interview, we ask them to describe what procurement 'The Old Way' looks like - and the answer is always the same: 'Fragmented.' 'Labour-intensive.' 'Slow.' 'Clunky.' 'Piecemeal.' 'Nebulous.' That's not a failing of the teams. That's just what happens when procurement lives across Excel, Word, and email, across dozens of projects, trades, and stakeholders all at once. In this video, builders share what procurement looks like when you have full visibility and control 👇 Erilyan, Kori Construction Limited, McNab, Mount Anvil, Clegg Group Limited, Purcell Construction, Legacie, SMD Ltd

‘If a CA/QS did their job perfectly, every single job, they’d be working 110 hours a week.’ That’s the reality of a lot of commercial workflows: they only work if people have impossible amounts of time. In this clip from the latest BidLevel podcast, the team talks through why quote comparison still depends on too much manual work, and why users have shifted towards AI-generated comparisons to get a more complete first pass. Last year I missed our Top Out Event. I was on paternity leave (and wouldn’t change that for the world) but I was definitely looking forward to making this year’s one. Last week we hosted our 2026 Top Out Event on Sydney Harbour. One thing I always enjoy about these events is spending time with the people actually running projects and managing procurement every day. As someone who spends most of his time building software, those conversations are incredibly grounding. You hear firsthand about the pressure commercial teams are under: balancing risk, protecting margin, managing supply chains and still keeping projects moving. It’s a good reminder of why we started ProcurePro in the first place. Thanks to everyone who joined us on the harbour. Curious what others are seeing out there. What’s the biggest procurement challenge your team is dealing with right now?

Profit isn't made or lost on-site. It's set long before subbies arrive. The decisions made early, under time pressure, across scope, approvals, and commitments. Those are the ones that dictate your margin. By the time work starts, the commercial outcome is largely written. So ask yourself: right now, across all your live projects, do you actually know where each package sits? Where you're over budget? Where risk is building? For most firms, the answer is sort of. Procurement is scattered across spreadsheets, inboxes, and folders. That's how margin is lost. Quietly. Every day. If you control procurement, you control the outcome. Want to see more? Let's talk: https://lnkd.in/eDZCPQup

  • It's clear: when procurement is digital and connected, teams can focus on the commercial work that matters. “Time freed up… can now be spent on value-added tasks… rather than chasing admin.” - Tom Whelan, Commercial Director | Purcell Construction Supply Chain Insights helps you keep compliance under control, understand capacity, and track performance - so decisions are made with confidence, before work is awarded. 👉 Speak to an expert about procurement insights: procurepro.co/book-a-demo
