The AGIEI program provides museums and galleries with funding to offset the insurance cost to tour eligible international exhibitions to Australia. Applications close 17 April 2026. Today we’re highlighting the resilience and resourcefulness of Australia’s community broadcasters. Douglas FM in Far North Queensland recently faced an unexpected disruption when local cockatoos damaged essential cabling and antenna infrastructure. To stay on air and continue serving their community, the station accessed a Quick Response Grant through our Community Broadcasting Program, enabling $12,000 in urgent repairs. ℹ️ Quick Response Grants provide fast, practical support for community media organisations dealing with unforeseen technical issues or time-sensitive challenges. The New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) Regulator has published the first NVES results, showing the NVES is tracking as intended, supporting Australia’s transition to a lower-emissions light vehicle transport sector and a competitive and diverse vehicle market. Our 2026 Graduate Development Program officially commenced on Wednesday 11 February. This year, 29 graduates joined the department. They will begin their first rotation this week, following a successful induction program last week. Welcome 2026 Graduates! We can’t wait to work with you!
