🏆 The Reece Fire + ReFire H-Pattern Hydrant Competition was a standout feature at Fire Australia 2026, bringing together skill, speed and a little friendly competition. Teams took on the challenge of assembling a standardised H-pattern fire hydrant booster in a timed event, competing for a $1,000 charity donation prize. Congratulations to Jake and Jordan from Fire Plumb Victoria on taking out the win. A big thank you to Reece Fire, Refire Group Pty Ltd, Victaulic, Shae Mete, Anthony Lada, Milwaukee Tool and the FPA Australia team for helping bring the competition to life. Think you can beat the clock? Victoria has set a high benchmark. Can Queensland break the record, or will Victoria keep the title? More competitions are coming to Fire Australia 2027 on the Gold Coast. #FireAustralia2026 #FireProtection #Competition #IndustryChallenge #GoldCoast2027 #ReeceFire #Fireplumbvictoria #Victaulic #TeamMilwaukee

We were proud to be at this year’s Fire Australia Show with our Reece Fire and ReFire teams. It was a great chance to show how we support the industry day to day, from our product range on the ground to digital ordering through maX, backed by strong supplier partnerships and local fabrication capability. The best part was connecting with so many customers and partners across the industry. We also sponsored the inaugural H‑Pattern Competition, where teams raced to build the fastest compliant system. Congrats to Fireplumb for taking the win. Looking forward to doing it all again next year. Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia)

Thank you Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) for the opportunity to present at the Fire Australia Conference last week. I was proud to represent Lote Consulting | Fire | Security | Cyber | Risk and present on “Fire Water Demand of Emerging Hazards in Australia”. This topic is becoming increasingly important as new energy technologies and storage systems continue to develop and become a permanent part of our built environment. My presentation explored the key fire hazards associated with these emerging technologies, fire brigade suppression strategies, and considerations for designing sites to address both fire water demand and water containment requirements. It was a great experience contributing to the conversation alongside so many knowledgeable professionals across the fire industry. A big thank you to everyone who attended the presentation and took the time to chat afterwards. I’m looking forward to continuing the discussion and learning from others in the industry. #FireAustralia #FireSafety #Engineering #FireProtection #EmergingHazards #RenewableEnergy #BESS
