Exploring the potential of smart templates and connected workflows in digital fashion with Fabra presents a significant opportunity for brands to build from strong foundations. This could involve fit blocks, grading systems, or curated fabric libraries linked to trusted materials and suppliers. For medium to larger brands, once key silhouettes and fit foundations are established, templates and modular workflows can support more connected and efficient product development. Exploring 3D design tools has been a really interesting shift in my workflow lately. I recently started using Fabra to build a small capsule collection directly in 3D, stating from garment blocks and developing designs from there. A few things that stood out straight away: fabric library with composition + weight colour tools using hex codes + Pantones built-in colour trend direction fast visualisation without multiple sampling rounds tech packs ready to export in minutes It’s not fully custom yet, but already a really powerful tool for developing ideas and exploring design directions more efficiently. It’s been one month since our public beta and we just crossed 3,000 new designs created on Fabra 🎉 What makes this milestone special is that it’s happened entirely through word of mouth. No paid campaigns, no big launch. Just designers and brands telling each other about a new easy way to design products in 3D. A big thank you to everyone who’s tried Fabra, shared feedback and passed it on to friends and teammates. This early momentum means a lot to us.
